Pheasants Forever

Although Pheasants Forever is new to this area, we have a strong history elsewhere in Wisconsin. The first chapter in Wisconsin started in 1986, and since then Pheasants Forever has been a leader in local wildlife habitat development. Since the beginning Pheasants Forever has been raised and spent over $5 million on projects such as planting and maintaining over 35,000 acres of nest covers, planting over 52,000 acres of winter food plots, restoring over 1,229 acres of wetlands, and purchasing over 3,780 acres of land that is open to the public. Why not help us add to these great accomplishments.

Your Local Chapter

Your chapter is in second year of existence and encompasses Outagamie and Calumet Counties. During the past year the chapter has donated funds to private landowners in Outagamie and Shawano county. The chapter has also donated funds to the DNR for habitat improvements in the Killsnake Public Hunting areas in Calumet County. Funds were also given to our habitat specialist to replace some of their equipment. We co-sponsored our first "Learn To Hunt" program for new or novice pheasant hunters. The chapter has been busy and has more projects in mind for 2008. With your help, we can help improve our local habitat and continue to educate the youth. We are always in need of volunteers to help on projects. If you are interested, we can use your expertise and help. Remember, all funds raised by your Chapter stays for local projects.
